The restaurant of Swiss Lodge aspires to acquaint the guests with the most noble gastronomic tradition of the surroundings. 'We can not find better reference to our restaurant, whereas the writer Gyula Krúdy and the nightingale of the nation, well-known gourmand Lujza Blaha attended many times here. Krúdy said that he could carouse best here from May to October. But nowadays it is also pleasant to be sitting about at the terrace of the restaurant, where the scent of the lake, lime trees and the blooming herbs blends. Our stomach can be tempted by Krúdy's favourite meals and the delicacy of 'tirpák' kitchen, besides a glass of fine wine or beer. A good kind of plum palinka or boiled wine matches to the lunch or dinner in winter.'
